thanks for the comments. Our Bombshell stuff will be awesome for you in the Northwest. Try it, and if you can get wet, return it, and lets discuss. We will stick with the bombshell materials, as they beat out the goretex and other PTFE. More than 20 K ? gore tex is not more than 20K, nor do you need it. I lived in the Northwest for 12 years, and experienced much of what the cascades can throw at you!!! it is brutal for sure, but i still use this experience when considering design elements. Goretex had great product in comparison to others like 15 years ago. now, goretex is marketing, poor breathability, and comparable 15 k waterproof. while others actually report the values of waterproofness and breathability, goretex only says 'guaranteed' why? cause its not that good.

Gore tex also can not be welded, it will fall apart. we tried a few eVent materials, which is far better PTFE material, but will fall apart in a welded garment.

Maybe with the new colors, you can offer something more than 20K, and maybe in a 3L gore-tex for all of us living up here in the NW?? Simple design, function, good materials and style are present here, now it would be nice to have it hold up to the worst the north cascades will throw at it!!! Just my thoughts, Burton has a good product with their AK series, but it is starting to lose its luster, Bonfire used to, Sessions used to, now maybe Stoic can be the leader in this category???
